Navratna International

Navratna International is located at Shop No. 14 inside the Ghanshyam Chamber. If you are driving down Lakhdhirpur Road, you will see the Ambika Weight Bridge, and we are right near that spot. It’s a busy area with a lot of trucks and heavy vehicles passing by because of the weight bridge. The dust from the road usually finds its way into the shop, so we are always cleaning the glass and the desks. We do international trade stuff, but the office doesn't look like those big glass buildings you see in the city. It’s a practical space where we handle a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. The phone rings a lot, mostly people asking about shipments or prices. We keep a calendar on the wall that is covered in scribbles and dates. Lakhdhirpur Road isn't the quietest place to work, but it’s where all the action is for our type of business. Most days involve us sitting around the computer or checking the storage areas. We have a small corner for making tea, which is pretty much the most important part of the afternoon. People stop by for a chat or to discuss some business, and we just sit there on the plastic chairs and talk it out. It is a straightforward way of working without any unnecessary fuss or complicated systems. The routine stays the same month after month.
