Laxveer Ceramic Llp

Laxveer Ceramic Llp is situated out on the Morbi-Jetpar Road, right across from Rangpar Village. If you know anything about Morbi, you know it’s all about ceramics. We are right in the middle of it. The road is always filled with heavy trucks carrying clay or finished tiles, so it’s a bit of a noisy and dusty place to be. Our facility is where we handle the production side of things. It’s a big space because you need room for the kilns and the storage. We spend our days checking the quality of the pieces and making sure the firing process is going okay. It’s not the cleanest job in the world. You end up with fine dust on your shoes and clothes by the time lunch rolls around. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and air conditioning. It’s more of a working plant where things actually get made. The village of Rangpar is just across the way, so some of the guys walk to work from there. We’ve got a rhythm going where we know what needs to be done without much talk. The sun can be quite brutal on the Morbi-Jetpar stretch, but we have some shade inside the units. We just focus on keeping the production moving and making sure the trucks get loaded correctly. It’s a straightforward life, mostly centered around the clay and the heat of the kilns. We just get on with it.
