Global Job Placement

Global Job Placement is located inside the Shiv Complex. To be more specific, we are in the 3rd complex near Kuldevi Pan. Most people find us by looking for the pan shop right opposite our entrance. It is a small office with a few chairs for anyone waiting to speak with us. Our desks are usually buried under files, and the printer rarely stops running. People come in looking for work, and we do our best to find a good fit for them. This involves a lot of listening to what they can do and then making phone calls. Shiv Complex can be a bit of a maze with all its levels, but once you reach the third one, we are easy to spot. Sometimes the smell of tobacco from downstairs drifts up through the hallway. Our small window gives us a view of the busy street below. There is always someone shouting or a bike engine revving nearby. We are not a large corporation, just a small team matching folks with jobs. Some weeks we have plenty of options, while other times things are much slower. Everything gets written down in a big ledger and also entered into the computer. We spend most of our afternoons talking through resumes and experience. People from around the neighborhood often stop in to see if any new openings have come up lately. We just keep the coffee going and handle the paperwork as it comes each day.
