Jayesh Traders is tucked away in Mehta Market Peth. If you’ve ever walked through the market, you know how crowded and lively it gets. Our shop isn't very large, but we pack a lot of stuff into the shelves. It’s one of those places where you have to know where everything is or you’ll never find it. We open up early in the morning when the market is just starting to wake up and the tea stalls are getting busy. Dealing with customers all day is interesting because you meet all kinds of people. Some are in a hurry and others want to talk for an hour. The lanes are narrow, so deliveries can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We’ve been in this spot for a long time and seen many other shops come and go. It’s a bit dusty and the lighting isn’t the best, but it feels like home to us. We just focus on keeping the stock ready and helping whoever walks through the door. Usually, there’s a stack of ledgers on the desk and a half-eaten lunch somewhere. It’s a simple life running a trading business in a place like this. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just rely on the people who come to the Peth for their daily needs. It’s noisy, cramped, and busy, but we like it that way. Every day is a little different here.
