Sayona Ceramic

Sayona Ceramic is based out of the Wankaner area, specifically near Lakad Dhar on the Matel Road. We are situated right along the 8-A National Highway, which is where everyone in the tile business ends up sooner or later. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially with the trucks constantly coming in from the factories. Our setup is pretty standard for this region. We have our production area and a small spot for managing the business side of things. Most of the guys here live nearby or commute from the surrounding villages. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping an eye on the machinery to make sure nothing breaks down at the wrong time. We aren’t a huge multinational corporation with fancy brochures. We’re just a local business trying to make a living in the ceramic industry. The air around here always smells a bit like earth and fire because of all the kilns running nearby. We’ve had some good years and some tough ones, but we’re still here doing what we know. It gets incredibly hot in the summer, and the monsoon brings its own set of problems for the transport, but that’s just how it goes. We keep our heads down and focus on the day’s work without worrying too much about the big picture.
