Maps Laboratories Pvt. Ltd. is situated out at Plot No 38 in the Rafaleshwar GIDC. This area is right off the 8-A National Highway, near a place called Jambudiya. Being so close to the highway means we hear the constant drone of trucks and long-distance travelers passing by. The lab itself is a quiet contrast to the busy road outside. Inside Plot 38, we have all our testing gear and benches set up. It’s a clean, functional space where we spend most of our daylight hours. Jambudiya is a bit out of the main city, so it feels a little isolated sometimes, but that’s actually good for the kind of focused work we do in the lab. We have our routine of checking samples and recording data, mostly without much interruption. The building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just another unit in the GIDC, but we’ve made it our own over the years. Some days the wind off the highway blows a lot of dust around the plot, but we keep the lab sealed up tight. We aren't much for corporate meetings or polished presentations; we’re more likely to be found in our lab coats looking at test results. It’s a straightforward life out here near the highway, and we’ve gotten used to the commute and the industrial surroundings of Rafaleshwar. It serves our purpose well enough for the work we do.
