Lemica Paper Mill

Lemica Paper Mill is situated right on the 8-A National Highway. If you’re driving past Morbi 2, you’ll see us opposite Bharatnagar Itiharipar on Kerala Road. It’s a big site because paper mills take up a lot of space. There is always the smell of wet pulp and the sound of heavy rollers moving. We have a lot of trucks coming in with raw materials and leaving with stacks of paper. The highway makes it easy for the transport, which is good. We’ve been here in Morbi for a while now. The heat can be tough in the summer, especially near the machinery. We have a small office near the front gate where the paperwork gets handled. It's a bit cluttered with samples and logbooks. The workers here have been doing this for a long time and they know the machines by heart. We don’t do anything fancy, just make the paper and move it out. Sometimes the rain slows things down on the road, but we manage. It’s a noisy, busy place but it’s our workplace. We just try to keep the production line moving as steady as we can. You get used to the rhythm of the mill after a few days. We keep our boots by the door because of the mud. It is just a plain, hard-working mill out on the edge of town. No frills at all. That is just our way.
