We are up on the sixth floor of Shivam 2 Heights, which is in the Laxminarayan Society over in Morbi. It is a bit of a different spot for a business like ours, being in a tall building and all, but the view of the city is okay. We have been working out of unit 602 for a while. It is mostly office work and some small-scale handling of our food items. We don't have a storefront where people can just walk in from the street, so it is a bit more quiet here. We spend our time on the phone and checking the accounts. The building is usually busy with people living and working around us. Sometimes the elevator takes a long time, but we are used to it by now. We started Las Amigos because we wanted to do something of our own in the food sector. It is just a small team of us, no big departments or anything. We share the work and make sure the orders are being processed for the Rajkot area. It is a practical way to run things without the high costs of a big warehouse. We keep things simple and honest. Some days we stay late to finish the paperwork, especially at the end of the month. Living and working in the same area has its benefits, especially since we don't have to commute far. We just hope that we can keep doing this for a long time.
