Sonex Ceramics

We are Sonex Ceramics and our place is right on the 8-A National Highway in Lalpar. If you’ve ever driven through this part of Gujarat, you’ve probably seen a hundred ceramic places, and we’re one of them. The highway is always loud with trucks carrying tiles and raw materials back and forth. Our facility isn't tucked away; it’s right there where the action is. We spend most of our time dealing with clay, kilns, and the general mess that comes with making ceramic products. It’s hard work and the floor is usually covered in a fine layer of dust no matter how often we sweep it. We started this because we knew the trade and had the space here in Lalpar. It’s not a glamorous job. You’re mostly checking temperatures or looking at batches to see if the colors came out right. We have a small office area where we handle the paperwork, but most of the real work happens out back. The weather here can be really dry, which helps with the drying process but makes it a bit of a struggle for the staff during the summer months. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a group of us who know how to make tiles and want to keep the machines running.
