Senior Ceramic

Down in Lalpar, right on the edge of the 8-A National Highway, you’ll find Senior Ceramic. It’s a dusty spot, mostly because of all the construction and the trucks passing by. We have been working here for quite some time now. The factory floor is where everything happens. We have the big rollers and the ovens that never really cool down. It’s a lot of work to keep things running. We don't have a fancy website or a PR team. It's just us and the machines. We spend the morning checking the glaze and making sure the patterns are coming out okay. If a tile is crooked, we toss it. Simple as that. The guys in the yard are always busy with the forklifts. It’s a tight space sometimes when two trucks show up at once. We drink tea twice a day, and that’s when we actually get to sit down for a minute. The office is small and usually has a bit of dust on the table. We don't mind. It’s a place for work, not for showing off. We know the other business owners nearby and we sometimes borrow tools or help each other out. It’s a community of makers here in Morbi. We just want to finish the orders on the books and keep the workers busy so everyone can get their pay at the end of the month.
