Itaca Ceramic Pvt. Ltd. is located right on 8-A NH, opposite the 132 KV Lalpar Power Station. We’ve been here at P. B No. 306 for a while now. The location is pretty easy to spot because of the big power station right across the road. It’s a busy section of the highway, and we get a lot of noise from the constant stream of traffic passing by. Our operation is fairly straightforward. We have the factory floor where the ceramics are made and a separate area for storage and shipping. It’s a lot of work to keep everything running smoothly. The kiln is always going, so it stays pretty warm in that part of the building. We have a small office where we handle the orders and talk to customers on the phone. It’s not a fancy place with leather chairs; it’s more about being functional and having enough room for the paperwork. We spend our days checking the quality of the batches and making sure the packing is done right so nothing breaks on the road. It’s a lot of detail-oriented work, even if it looks messy from the outside. We’ve got a good group of workers who just get on with their tasks without much fuss. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just make ceramics and try to stay busy enough to keep the lights on. It’s just how we do business.
