Kitco Ceramic

Down here in Morbi, specifically at Kitco Ceramic on Lakhdhirpur Road, things are always moving fast. We’re right off the 8-A National Highway, which is basically the heart of the tile industry around here. It’s a gritty place, not like the shiny brochures you might see. We’ve got dust on our boots and grease on the machines, and that’s just fine with us. We started this place because we knew the trade and wanted to see if we could make a go of it on our own. It’s been a few years now, and we’re still here. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just know how to handle the clay and the heat of the kilns. Some days are better than others. When the heavy rain comes, it slows everything down, and we all just sit around waiting for the trucks to be able to move again. We’ve got a good group of guys working here. We know each other’s families and what’s going on in the neighborhood. We don't try to act like we're some huge corporation with fancy rules. We’re just a local business trying to make a living in a very busy town. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a job, covered in a bit of dust, but we’ll always have time to say hello and show you around.
