Our company, Simbel Ceramic, is out in Morbi, specifically near the Matel Dhuva Road in Lakadhar. We’re located right off the 8-A National Highway, which is the main artery for everything happening in the ceramic world around here. You might also know us by the name Lizon, which is a big part of what we do. The area is pretty rugged, with a lot of heavy vehicles moving through the dust all day long. It’s an industrial vibe through and through. Our building is a mix of production space and a bit of office room where we try to stay on top of the orders. We deal with ceramics every day, and it’s a process that involves a lot of watching and waiting. The machines make a lot of noise, but after a while, you stop noticing it. We’ve got a team that’s been doing this for years, so everyone knows their role without needing to be told. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits; we’re mostly in work clothes because things get dirty fast. We just try to make sure the quality is decent and the trucks leave on time. Morbi is a tough place to work because of the heat and the scale of industry, but we’ve made our home here and keep plugging away at it.
