World Dehydration

World Dehydration is located right out on the Morbi- Rajkot Highway in Tankara. It’s a good spot for us because the highway is always busy and we are easy to find once you get near Lajai. We focus on dehydration, which is basically just taking the water out of products so they stay good for longer. It’s a lot of work and involves keeping a close eye on the machines all day. The highway can get really loud with all the heavy trucks passing by at all hours, but we’ve gotten used to the sound over time. Tankara is a nice enough place to work from. We aren't a huge operation with hundreds of people, just a local crew doing what needs to be done. Sometimes the weather makes the drying process a bit tricky, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people find us just by seeing the sign or hearing about us from someone else in the area. We’ve been at this location for a while now and know the local roads pretty well. It gets quite hot in the afternoons, especially with all the equipment running inside. We just take our breaks when we can and then get back to it. It’s simple work, really, but it keeps us busy. We are just a group of people making sure things are dried out properly before they get shipped off.
