About Krishna Ceramic Industries – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Morbi
Being out here on the 8-National Highway means we see a lot of trucks passing by all day. We’re right near the Dariyalal Resort at Jambudia. It’s a dusty place, mostly because of the clay and the heavy traffic on the road. We spend a lot of time moving crates of ceramic goods. The sun hits the yard pretty hard in the afternoon. Inside the shed, the kilns are always running, so it stays warm even when the weather turns cool. We’ve got stacks of tiles and ceramic pieces piled up almost to the ceiling. Sometimes the dust gets on everything, no matter how much we sweep. We don’t have a fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we have, they just walk through the stacks with us. The workers live nearby, and we’ve all become like a small family over the years. We eat lunch together under the shade of the big tree out front. Sometimes the highway gets blocked with an accident, and everything slows down. We just keep the production going regardless. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting and stacking, but that’s the nature of ceramics. We aren't doing anything high-tech, just using the same methods that have worked for a long time. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. There is always a lot to do before the sun goes down.
