Khodiyar Bricks

Khodiyar Bricks is situated at Shop No. 6 in the Lati Plot area, specifically in Khodiyar Krupa on Ravapar Road. We are pretty close to the Civil Hospital, so it’s easy to find us if you are in that part of town. The shop is where we handle the talking and the money, but the real work happens where the bricks are. It’s a lot of moving heavy stuff around all day. We see a lot of people passing by because of the hospital and the main road. The Lati Plot area has a lot of history with this kind of work. We’ve been here for some time now and most of the locals know where Shop No. 6 is. It’s a straightforward business. We get the bricks in, we stack them, and we send them out. There’s always red dust on everything, even our clothes and the desks. We don't try to be something we’re not. It’s just a local brick business. Ravapar Road can get quite congested during the day, so we try to get our loading done at the right times. It’s a lot of keeping track of numbers and making sure the trucks find their way to us without too much trouble. We just do our thing here at Khodiyar Krupa and keep the wheels turning. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our feet from morning till evening. Nothing fancy, just bricks and hard work.
