It’s a convenient place because so many people pass through the bus stand every day. We aren't a big corporation with multiple floors; we share space because it makes sense for the local farmers. Most of our day is spent talking to people coming in for supplies or just stopping by to see what's new for the season. The noise from the buses is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our desks are usually covered in seed packets and ledgers. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just a couple of stools and the counter. It's practical. People know they can come here and get a straight answer about what seeds might work for their patch of land. Surendranagar can be quite dry, so we focus on what survives the heat. We don't do much advertising because word of mouth in Halvad is how things get done. It’s a busy little corner of the town. We've stayed here because it puts us right in the middle of the action. Whether it's early morning or late afternoon, there's always someone coming by. We just try to stay organized and helpful to the folks who rely on us for their livelihood.
