Omson Ceramic is situated out on Jetpar Road, right across from Pipali Village in the Morbi district. Anyone who knows this region understands that it is the heart of the ceramic industry. The road outside is always full of heavy trucks carrying tiles and raw materials, so there is quite a bit of dust in the air. Our facility is directly opposite the village, which makes it a good landmark for people coming to see us. We have a large yard for storing our stock. It is not a shiny showroom. It is a working space where things are constantly being loaded and unloaded. The office is a small room tucked away from the main noise of the yard. Inside, we mostly spend our time keeping track of the different batches and making sure the shipping dates are met. Morbi is a busy place, but we just try to focus on our own tasks. We spend most of the day on our feet, checking over the pieces to see if they are okay. The tea we make here is usually very strong, which helps keep us going when we are busy. It is a bit of a gritty job, and your clothes usually end up covered in white dust by the time you leave. We don't have any big sales pitches. People come to us because they need tiles and they know where to find us on Jetpar Road. We have been out here for a long time and the routine stays pretty much the same.
