Aston Ceramic

Aston Ceramic is located at Survey No. 294, P-1, right on the Morbi-Jetpar Road in Jivapar. If you have ever been to Morbi, you know what it’s like here. The air is always a bit dusty and there are trucks everywhere you look. Our factory is a large shed where we spend most of the day dealing with clay and heat. The kilns are constantly running, so it stays very warm inside even during the winter months. It is a messy job, and our clothes usually end up covered in white dust by the end of the shift. We have a big yard out back where we stack the finished pieces. Sometimes the stacks get so high you can't see the road anymore. Most of the staff comes from the local villages nearby. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; we just have a small desk near the entrance where we track the shipments. The noise of the machinery is quite loud, so we have to shout sometimes to be heard. It is a basic setup, but it works for what we need to do. The road outside is always busy with vehicles going back and forth between the different factories. We just keep our heads down and try to get the production done on time. It is a tough way to make a living, but there is a lot of pride in the work we finish here.
