Jaysun Ceramics

Our place is right on the 8-A National Highway in Wankaner, specifically in the Dhuva area. It is a very busy spot with trucks constantly rumbling past the front gate. The air is often thick with dust from the highway and the factory itself. We spend our hours around the kilns, and in the summer, the heat can get pretty intense inside the building. Most of our work is just checking the ceramic pieces as they come out. We look for cracks or spots where the glaze didn't take right. It can be a bit boring sometimes, just standing there and sorting through thousands of tiles. We have a small area where we sit and eat our lunch together. It’s not a polished corporate office. The walls are stained with clay and the floor is never really clean. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just make the ceramics and pack them into wooden crates for shipping. Sometimes things break during the packing, which is frustrating, but we just deal with it. The highway makes it easy to get the goods out, but the noise never really stops. We've been part of this industrial stretch for years. It's just a bunch of us working with clay and fire every day to get the orders filled.
