Our factory is located in Nandasan, right on the highway that goes from Ahmedabad to Mehsana. It’s in the Kadi taluka of Mehsana district. If you are driving that way, you can’t miss all the industrial buildings along the road. We make tiles. It’s a process involving a lot of heat, pressure, and various raw materials. The yard is usually full of pallets waiting to be loaded onto trucks. We’ve been at this for a while, and the place has a worn-in feel to it. It’s not a shiny corporate office; it’s a working tile plant. Some days the colors don't come out quite right on the first try, so we have to adjust the mix and try again. That’s just part of the learning process in this business. We have a good group of workers from the surrounding villages who know the routine and don't need much instruction. We don't really do much in the way of advertising or marketing. Most people find us because they saw our sign on the highway or someone told them about our tiles. It's a lot of noise and hard work, especially when the kilns are running at full blast. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the quality is decent enough for people to use in their homes. It's a basic business, and we like it that way. There’s no need to make it more complicated than it actually is.
