You can find us over at Unchi Mandal where the tile factories are lined up one after another. Nehani Tiles has been sitting on this plot for some years now. Most of our days are spent out on the shop floor checking the press machines or making sure the glaze is sitting right on the pieces before they head into the oven. It gets quite warm in there, especially during the summer months when the sun hits the shed roof, but we are used to it by now. We are a straightforward group of people just trying to get through the daily production schedule without too many headaches. Sometimes we run into issues with the raw material batches being a bit off, so we have to adjust things on the fly. It is a lot of physical labor, lifting boxes and moving pallets around with the forklift. We do not spend much time on the computer unless we have to log a shipment or check a bill. The tea stall nearby is where most of us end up during the break to get away from the noise of the machines for a few minutes. It is a simple setup we have here. We make the tiles, pack them up, and wait for the transport trucks to arrive. Not much else to say about how we run things in Unchi Mandal.
