Our place is out on Old Ghuntu Road. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know it’s the heart of the ceramic area. There’s a lot of dust and a lot of trucks, but that’s just part of the daily life here at Dell Ceramic Pvt. Ltd. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we’ve seen the road change as more factories opened up. We spend our days surrounded by tiles and samples. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We don't have a polished showroom with bright lights; it’s more of a working warehouse where you can see the actual product being moved around. The office is just a small corner where we handle the invoices and talk to customers. People usually come to us because they know we’re right here on the ground, literally. We don't use fancy brochures or sales pitches. We just show you the ceramics we have and tell you what they cost. It can get pretty hot in the summer months, especially with the kilns nearby, but we’re used to it. We keep a steady pace and try to make sure every order is loaded up correctly. There’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a truck drive off full of tiles we helped produce. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s honest work and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. We just do our best to stay organized amidst all the clay and grit.
