You can find us at the Rcm Group building, over in Spl-6 of the Growth Center in Amirgarh. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but the space is good for what we do with textiles. The air inside the unit usually has a bit of fine dust from all the fabric we handle, which is just part of the job in the suiting business. We spend our days surrounded by big rolls of cloth in different colors and patterns. Most of the work involves checking the weave and making sure the pieces are cut properly before they get sent out. The heat in this part of the country can be quite something, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the roof of the shed. We have some heavy-duty fans, but they mostly just move the warm air around. The staff here has been with us for a long time, so we all know the rhythm of the machines and when something sounds a bit off. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the fabric and making sure the orders are ready when the trucks arrive. Sometimes the transport is delayed, and we end up with piles of stock waiting in the aisles. It gets a bit cramped, but we make it work. It's a plain, honest business where we deal with threads and looms every single day. We take our tea in the small shade outside.
