Spa Ceramic

At Spa Ceramic, we are located in Dhuva. If you know this area, you know it is famous for ceramics and tiles. The whole place is filled with dust from the clay and the sound of heavy trucks. We spend our days surrounded by stacks of tiles of all different sizes and colors. It’s a heavy job. My back usually aches by the end of the day from moving samples around. We don't have a shiny showroom like you might see in the big cities. It’s more of a warehouse feel where the work actually happens. Dhuva is an industrial kind of place, so it’s not exactly pretty, but it’s where the business is. We spend a lot of time talking to builders and people looking to fix up their houses. Sometimes the orders get mixed up or a pallet breaks, and we just have to deal with it. It’s not a perfect system, but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the next load to arrive. We’ve been here for a while, seeing the factories around us grow. It’s just simple work. We show people what we have in stock and help them load it up. It’s a lot of repetitive stuff, but that’s just how the tile business goes in this part of the country.
