Om Ceramic Industries (Topp)

Om Ceramic Industries (Topp) is located on the 8-A NH, right near the Matel Over Bridge. If you’re coming from the main road, you can see the bridge, which helps people know they’re getting close. The area is always buzzing with activity because of the bridge and the highway traffic. Our setup is pretty simple. We have a production area and a place to keep the finished ceramics. It’s not a quiet environment by any means; there’s always something humming or clanging in the background. We spend a lot of our time making sure the raw materials are coming in and the finished pieces are getting out the door on time. There’s a lot of heavy lifting involved, and we all have to watch our step around the stacks of tiles. The office is just a small corner where we keep the records and take a break for lunch. We don’t go for any of that corporate polish. The walls have some marks on them and the floor is usually a bit dusty from the warehouse. We’re just a group of people working together to keep the business running. Some days are stressful when a machine breaks down or a delivery is late, but we just figure it out as we go. It’s a real, working factory environment where everyone pitches in to get the job finished by the end of the shift. We just take it one day at a time.
