Glossy Ceramics Pvt. Ltd. is located out in Dhuva, right along the 8-A NH. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but it’s where all the action is for this kind of work. The highway is the lifeline of the business, with trucks constantly arriving from all over. Our facility is pretty large, but it’s filled up quickly with all the ceramic products we handle daily. We have a lot of crates piled up in the yard, and it takes some skill to navigate the forklift through the narrow gaps. The air always smells a bit like earth and dust. We don’t have a flashy entrance or a receptionist waiting to greet you; you usually just have to find someone in a work shirt and ask for help. We spend our days tracking shipments and making sure the inventory numbers in the book match what’s actually on the floor. It’s a lot of counting and double-checking. Sometimes we lose track of time when a big order comes in and we have to get it ready for transport before the driver’s hours run out. We’ve had some long days here, but that’s just part of being in this industry. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay ahead of the schedule. It’s honest work and we’re glad to be a part of the local community here in Dhuva.
