Skymate Sanitrywares (selfie)

If you drive down Jetpar Road, you’ll find us right across from Bela Village. This part of Morbi is always a bit dusty because of all the ceramic work going on everywhere. At Skymate Sanitrywares, we mostly deal with toilets, washbasins, and the usual bathroom stuff under the Selfie name. The warehouse is a big, open space with high ceilings, and it’s usually stacked high with wooden crates full of porcelain. It’s not a fancy showroom with spotlights; it’s more of a practical place where we check for cracks and make sure the glaze looks right. The sun beats down on the roof during the day, so it stays pretty warm inside. We spend a lot of time on our feet, moving from one row of stock to another to find exactly what a customer needs. Sometimes the delivery trucks get delayed because the roads are rough, but we just deal with it as it comes. There’s a small desk near the front where we do the billing, and it’s usually covered in tea cups and scratch pads. We don't put on an act for anyone who walks in. We just show them the pieces we have available and tell them the price. It’s a straightforward way to run a business in a town that’s built on making these kinds of things for the whole country, and we just try to keep our inventory moving.
