You can find our place on Jetpar Road, right near the Narmada canal in Sapar. It is a dusty stretch of road with quite a few ceramic factories scattered around. We make various ceramic products here, which involves a lot of clay, intense heat, and waiting for the kilns to reach the right temperature. The whole place is usually covered in a fine layer of white dust, no matter how many times we try to sweep it up. It is just part of the daily life in a ceramic unit. We have big ovens that run almost all the time to keep up with the work. Sometimes we have issues with the clay mix or a batch comes out wrong, and we just have to scrap it and start the whole process over again. It is a bit of a gamble sometimes. We are not a high-tech laboratory, just a regular factory where people work with their hands and older machines. The canal nearby is a good landmark for people who are trying to find us for the first time. We have trucks coming in with raw materials and leaving with boxes of finished goods throughout the day. It is a steady, repetitive rhythm. Most of the staff live in the nearby villages, so we all know each other well. We do not have a fancy showroom for visitors. We just show people the samples right there in the small front office.
