About Bej Ceramic – Building & Construction Material in Morbi
Our place is out near the Lalpar-220 Kva Substation. If you are driving down the 8-A National Highway, you will find us tucked right behind it in New Jambudiya. It is a dusty area with a lot of heavy trucks moving around all day, but that is just how it is in this part of the world. We work with ceramics. It is a messy business, honestly. There is always white dust on our boots and the sound of machinery humming in the background. We aren't a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. We are more of a hands-on operation. My family started this because we knew the ground here and what could be made from it. We see Himsun Ceramic nearby, so it is a bit of a hub for this kind of work. Every day we come in, check the kilns, and look over the tiles or whatever we are running that week. Sometimes the power acts up because of the substation nearby, which is ironic, but we manage to get things done anyway. It is hard work, especially when the weather gets hot and the kilns are running. We don't have a fancy waiting room for visitors. If you come by, you will probably find us in the back checking the quality of a fresh batch. We just want to make stuff that doesn't crack and looks decent for the people buying it. It’s a simple life.
