Our factory for Florida Ceramic Pvt. Ltd. is located right on Jetpar Road, in the village of Bela near Morbi. If you've ever driven through this part of Gujarat, you know that this road is lined with ceramic plants as far as the eye can see. We’re just one of those local businesses trying to do a good job with the clay and the kilns. The atmosphere around here is always a bit dusty, and the heat from the large ovens is constant. We don't have a polished corporate image or a big advertising budget. Most of us here are locals from Bela or the surrounding villages. We spend our time checking the glaze and making sure the tiles are fired correctly. It’s a hands-on process that requires a lot of patience. Our office is just a simple room with some tile samples leaning against the walls and a few desks for the paperwork. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. If someone wants to see our work, we just take them out to the storage yard where the crates are stacked. It’s a very direct way of doing things. We’ve seen Morbi grow into a massive hub for ceramics, and we’re glad to be a small part of that history. We don't make big claims about being the best. We just focus on the daily grind of mixing, molding, and firing the clay to produce something useful for construction.
