Akshat Overseas

Akshat Overseas is located on the second floor of Haridarshan Plaza. We are at shop number 13, which isn't too hard to find if you are driving down Ravapar Kenal Road. We’re quite close to the Ramco Bungalows, so it’s a bit quieter here than some other parts of town. Being on the second floor means we have to walk up the stairs quite a bit every day. It keeps us moving I guess. The office is pretty simple, mostly just some desks, a few filing cabinets, and a water cooler that makes a loud gulping sound sometimes. We handle export and overseas things from here, so there is a lot of talking on the phone and checking lists. Sometimes the internet acts up, but we just reset the router and it's fine. It gets quite bright in here during the morning because of how the windows face. We usually have some folders stacked up on the floor because we ran out of shelf space last month. It’s not a big corporate office with a receptionist. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just says hello. We like being in this part of the city. There’s a nice little spot nearby to get snacks when the afternoon slump hits. The view from the balcony isn't much, just the road and some other buildings, but it's nice to step out for some fresh air and watch the cars go by on the canal road.
