Unique Gift Gallery

If you walk down the lane in Lajpat Nagar, just sort of behind where Dr. Aslam has his place, you will find our spot, Unique Gift Gallery. We have been sitting here at number 58 for a while now, surrounded by the usual noise and bustle of the neighborhood. It is not a very big space, but we try to keep things organized. Mostly, people come in looking for something to give to a friend or a family member on a special day. We have a lot of items packed onto the shelves, and sometimes it gets a bit crowded when a few people are browsing at the same time. The mail comes to P.O. Box No. 283, which is how we handle some of the paperwork side of things. It is just a regular shop where we spend our days. We see a lot of local faces coming by. Sometimes they just stop to chat or ask for directions, and that is actually fine too. We don't have fancy displays or those bright lights you see in the big malls. It is more about having things that people might actually need or like. We keep the doors open and just get on with the work of running the gallery. It’s a practical way to spend the day, making sure things are dusted and ready for whoever walks in next. Being in this part of town feels pretty much right for us.
