The Electro India

Running The Electro India out of Faiz Ganj has its ups and downs. We are right on the Main Road, which sounds convenient until you realize how much dust comes in from the traffic all day. Being near the Police Chowki helps though, because people always know exactly where to find us when they are giving directions. We deal with all sorts of electrical components and gadgets here. The shop isn't very large, and sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a big shipment arrives, but we know where everything is kept. It gets quite hot in this part of the district during the summer months, and the fans never seem to be enough, but we stay busy. Most of our regulars are folks from around the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. We don't have any fancy displays or a polished showroom. It is mostly just shelves filled with wires, boards, and parts that people need for their projects or repairs. Sometimes the tea stall next door is the best part of the morning before we start testing equipment. It is a humble place, and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is. If you are driving down the main road, just look for the spot near the police station and you will probably see one of us outside moving boxes or chatting with a neighbor. We just do our thing every day, trying to keep the shelves stocked and the lights on.
