Mangalam

We are located right opposite Kunwar Cinema, near the Station Road area. Most people use the cinema as a landmark to find Mangalam. Being so close to the station means there’s always a crowd and plenty of noise from the trains and the commuters rushing by. Our shop is in a very busy spot, which keeps us on our toes. We’ve been here for a while, selling various goods to people passing through or locals living nearby. The storefront is always busy, and we have to keep an eye on everything at once so things don't go missing. We don't have a lot of space for storage, so we’re constantly getting new deliveries to replace what we sell. It’s a fast pace that doesn't really stop until we close the shutters. We don't have any fancy mission statements or big corporate goals. We just want to open on time and make sure we have what people are looking for. Sometimes the shop feels too small for all the people who come in, and it gets a bit chaotic during the rush hours. We just try to stay calm and handle one person at a time. The area around Station Road is always changing, with new stalls and people moving in and out every month. We’ve seen it all from our spot across from the cinema. It’s a lot of long hours standing on our feet, but we like being where the action is. We’re just a local business doing our thing day after day.
