Shri Ram Exports

Shri Ram Exports is right at A-16 in Gandhi Nagar, just off the N.H.-24 highway. Being so close to the national highway means there is almost always the sound of trucks and cars rushing by in the background. It is a very busy part of the city. Our building at A-16 is easy to spot because of how close it is to the main road. The area in Gandhi Nagar is always humming with activity. We have a lot of stuff coming and going because of the export side of things. The front door of the office is usually propped open during the day unless the weather is really bad. Inside, the space is divided into a few sections for different tasks. We have a lot of shelves stacked with various items waiting to be shipped out. The floor is concrete and it’s seen better days, but it holds up under the weight of the crates. We don't really have a lobby or a place for people to sit and wait. It’s mostly just us working through the piles of paperwork and making sure the boxes are labeled correctly. The dust from the highway is a constant battle, so we are always wiping down the desks. It’s a gritty, hardworking environment, but it suits us just fine. We have a rhythm to the day that depends on the transport schedules. It’s just how life is here at A-16. We see a lot of different people coming in and out of the lane throughout the week.
