Shivani Clinic

Shivani Clinic sits right at the Main Churaha in Patwahi. It is very easy to find because we are directly opposite the Rampur bus stand. You can see the buses coming and going all day long. Because of the location, there is always noise from the traffic and people shouting for rides. It’s a very active spot in Rampur. We get people who are just passing through and others who live right here in the village. The building is old but it works for what we need. Inside, there are a few benches for people to wait. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with a TV or anything like that. People just sit and talk while they wait their turn. Being near the bus stand means we get a lot of unexpected visitors. Sometimes someone gets off a bus feeling sick and they see our sign. It gets pretty dusty inside because of all the vehicles on the main road. We try to sweep it out a few times a day. Life at the churaha is never quiet. You hear the horns and the engines starting up constantly. We’ve been here in Patwahi for a long time, so most of the locals don't even need to look at the address anymore. They just walk over when something is wrong. It’s a simple life here in the clinic, just seeing patients and keeping track of things day by day.
