Shanti Raj International

Our place is out on Delhi Road, specifically in the Majholi area. It’s not exactly a quiet neighborhood because of all the trucks and buses heading toward the city. Shanti Raj International has been operating from this building for quite some time now. It’s a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, but we keep the inside as organized as we can. We deal with a lot of international stuff, so there’s always a pile of shipping forms and registers on the main desk. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some old chairs and a big table where we have our tea and talk about the day’s work. Sometimes the shipments get delayed because of the traffic on the highway, which can be a real headache. We have a small crew here, and most of us have been working together for years. We know the routines by heart. In the summers, it gets incredibly hot, so we have a couple of noisy fans that stay on all day. We spend most of our time checking boxes and making sure the labels are stuck on right. It’s a lot of physical work, moving things around and getting them ready for the transporters. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back handling the stock or trying to fix the printer.
