Seema Exports

Seema Exports is located in Mansarover Colony, at Z-53. We also use a P.O. Box because we get a lot of mail from overseas and it’s easier to manage. The colony is a mix of houses and small businesses like ours. We’ve been here for many years now. Our main work is packing up goods and shipping them to different countries. It sounds more exciting than it actually is. Most of the time, we are just surrounded by cardboard boxes, rolls of bubble wrap, and sticky tape. We have a small team of people who help with the packing. It’s important to wrap things correctly so nothing breaks on the long journey across the ocean. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you walked in, you’d mostly see stacks of boxes waiting to go to the airport or the docks. We deal with various local artisans to get the products we export. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure the stuff gets where it’s going in one piece. Sometimes the monsoon rains make it hard to move the boxes from the workshop to the truck, but we have a good tarp system to keep things dry. Our neighbors in Mansarover Colony know us well. We’ve been at this address since we started. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing every day.
