Saree King

We are located at Shop No 7 inside the Kunwar Complex, right across from Hindu College on Station Road. It is a busy spot. You can see the students walking by all day long and the rickshaws never really stop making noise. Being on Station Road means there is always someone passing through. We opened Saree King here because it seemed like a good place where people could just stop in while they were out doing other things. The complex itself has a few other shops, but we just focus on what we have here. It isn't a huge place, but it fits everything we need to show. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much, especially in the afternoons when the college lets out. We spend a lot of time just arranging things and making sure everything looks okay on the shelves. It’s mostly just us doing the daily work, opening up early and staying until the sun goes down. People know us because we’ve been around this part of town for a while. It’s not fancy, just a regular shop where you can find something to wear without a lot of fuss. We get a lot of regulars from the neighborhood and some people who are just coming from the train station. It’s interesting to see who walks through the door each day. Most of the time we are just chatting with whoever comes in or watching the street from the front door.
