Samex Decor

We’ve been here at Samex Decor for a good while now. Our spot is right on M.A. Road, which stays pretty loud most of the day with all the bikes and trucks going past. If you look right across from us, you’ll see the Hamam, so we always have a bit of a landmark to tell people when they get lost looking for Baradari. It isn’t a very big place, just enough room for the things we keep in stock and a couple of desks that have seen better days. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven’t really gotten around to it yet because there’s always something else to do. People around here know us as just the guys on the corner. Sometimes the dust from M.A. Road gets in everything, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the samples. It’s just how it is in this part of town. We don’t have fancy displays or anything like that. It’s mostly just stacks of stuff and us trying to keep things organized. Usually, we have tea around four o’clock, and that’s when the neighborhood feels a bit more relaxed. We like being in Baradari even if it’s a bit cramped. It’s where we started and we haven’t really thought about moving anywhere else. The sign outside is a bit faded from the sun, but people still find us alright.
