If you take a walk down Sambhal Road and turn into Rehmat Nagar, you will find our place tucked away in Gali No. 4. It is a fairly narrow street, so it is usually better if you don't try to bring a large vehicle right up to our door. Our shop is located right among the houses and other little businesses in the neighborhood. We have been in this spot for many years now, and almost all the neighbors know us by sight. It has a very local, community feel to it. We don't have any big signs or fancy tiled floors. It is just a plain room with some sturdy shelves and a couple of old chairs where people can sit and talk. We spend our time checking the stock and chatting with anyone who drops by to see what we have. It is a family-run operation, so there is usually a lot of talking and joking around. We don't do any marketing or have a sales team. We just rely on being here every day and doing our work properly. The lighting inside the shop isn't great, so we keep the front door wide open while the sun is up. It lets in all the sounds from the street, like the kids playing or the vendors shouting. It feels like home to us. We don't need anything more than this small spot in Gali No. 4 to keep our lives moving in the right direction.
