Al- Treasure

If you go down Sambhal Road and turn into Rehmat Nagar, you’ll find us in Gali Number 1. We’re really close to Madina Masjid, so we hear the calls to prayer throughout the day, which is a nice rhythm for our work. Al- Treasure is a small place, tucked away in the lane where things are always a bit tight. There’s usually a scooter or two parked right outside the door, making it a squeeze to get in. Inside, it smells like the materials we work with, and there’s always a bit of dust on the windows. We’ve got some old wooden tables where we lay everything out. The lighting isn't the brightest, but we know where everything is kept. It’s a neighborhood where everyone knows everyone else’s business, so we often have people sticking their heads in just to say hello or ask how the day is going. We don’t have a website or a big marketing plan; we just do what we do and people find us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit outside on the steps until it comes back on. That’s when you really see the life of the street, with kids playing and the tea stall nearby doing a brisk trade. We’ve been here in this lane for years, and it feels right being near the masjid. It’s just a small family-run spot trying to get through the daily tasks.
