S. A. International is located in Sabri Gali, which is a small lane off Shidi Sarai. You have to watch your step because the pavement is a bit uneven and there are always scooters parked everywhere. Our office is small and usually a bit cluttered with samples and shipping boxes. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been working together for a long time. We handle everything from answering the phone to packing the crates ourselves. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. The air in Sabri Gali always smells like whatever the neighbors are cooking for lunch, which can be a bit distracting when you’re hungry. We don't spend money on fancy furniture or high-tech gadgets. Our desks are old wooden ones we’ve had since we started, and the computer is a bit slow on Monday mornings. We have a lot of regular people we deal with, so it feels more like a community than a business district. Sometimes we spend more time chatting with the delivery guys than actually working, but that’s just how life goes in this part of town. We don't have any grand plans to change things; we just want to keep the business steady and pay the bills on time. It’s a decent living and we enjoy being in the middle of all the action.
