Royal India Collection

Our business, Royal India Collection, is based in the Rose Vila Compound. It’s near the Kapoor Company area. It’s a bit of an older spot, which we actually kind of like. There’s a lot of character in the walls and the way the whole compound is laid out. We have our main working area set up in one of the larger rooms in the back. It’s usually filled with all sorts of items we’ve gathered or worked on throughout the month. We don’t really follow a strict or formal office schedule. We get in when we need to and stay until the work is finished for the day. Sometimes that means being here late into the evening under the yellow lights. The compound has a mix of residential and business vibes. You might see someone drying clothes nearby while we’re loading up a van for a delivery. It’s a very local and grounded feel. We try to keep our space tidy, but with the amount of stuff we handle, it’s a constant battle to stay organized. We use a lot of local materials whenever we can get them. The people who work here are mostly from the neighborhood and walk to work. We know all the shopkeepers nearby and often stop to chat while getting our supplies. We don’t have a glossy brochure or a fancy website. We just show people what we have.
