Pure Nature Foods

Pure Nature Foods is based out of Sambhal. We work out of a plain building where we handle all sorts of food items like grains and local produce. Sambhal is the kind of place where things move at their own pace, and our business is no different. We spend a lot of time in the back where the storage is, making sure everything is kept dry and clean. The floors are concrete and there are bags of stuff piled up against the walls. We don’t have any fancy marketing or big slogans. We just get the food in, sort it out, and send it where it needs to go. The air in Sambhal can be quite dusty during the dry season, so we are always cleaning the shelves. We have an old scale that we use for weighing everything, and it’s been with us since we started. There isn’t much to the front of the shop—just a counter and a few samples of what we have. Most of our work is physical, moving heavy sacks and loading them onto trucks that come by. We don’t use any complicated systems; we just write things down in a ledger book. The day starts early when the sun comes up and we usually finish when it gets too dark to see properly in the warehouse. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy throughout the year.
