Pioneer Collection

You can find Pioneer Collection over at F-16/45 on Prince Road. We are pretty close to Indira Chowk, which is a landmark most people in the area know. The shop is tucked away in a spot that gets a decent amount of foot traffic, especially in the evenings. We spend our time managing the stock and keeping the shelves looking somewhat decent. It’s a lot of work because things get moved around all the time. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who take turns being at the counter and helping out whoever walks in. The building is a bit old, so we have to deal with the occasional leak or a creaky floorboard, but it’s got character. We keep a variety of items in the collection, and we’re always trying to find space for new arrivals. Sometimes it feels like we are playing a game of Tetris with the boxes in the back room. We don’t really go in for fancy lighting or expensive displays. It’s a straightforward shop where you can see what we have and ask questions if you need to. We’ve been on Prince Road for a while and have gotten to know the other shopkeepers nearby. It’s a busy life, and there’s always something to clean or an invoice to file, but we just keep at it every day without making a big deal out of anything.
