Parkland Exports

You can find Parkland Exports over at N. K. House. We are right behind the Maharaja Hotel on Station Road. Being near the station is handy because it makes getting things moved a bit easier, though the noise of the trains is always there in the background. We’ve been in this building for quite a few years. It’s an old structure, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. We handle exports for a variety of goods. There is always a lot of packing tape and cardboard boxes lying around the floor. The hallway is narrow, so we have to be careful when we are carrying stuff out to the trucks. It’s a small team here. We know each other's families and we usually share snacks during the break time. The office window looks out over the back of the hotel kitchen. It’s not much of a view, but we aren't here to look out the window anyway. We deal with a lot of paperwork and customs forms. It can be boring sometimes, but it has to be done right or the goods get stuck. We try to stay organized, but when three orders come in at once, things get a bit chaotic in the office. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just do the work and send out the bills. If someone needs something exported, they usually just call or come by. The ceiling fan makes a clicking sound but it still works.
