Reena Export House

The head office for Reena Export House is located at the Galsheed Factory in Pandit Nagla. It’s a bit out of the main city, so it’s a bit quieter until the factory machines start up. We do a lot of production work here. The building is quite large and holds everything from the raw materials to the finished goods ready for export. You’ll see trucks coming in and out of the gates all day long. Inside, it’s a lot of noise and people moving around. We have a small office section where we handle the paperwork for shipping things abroad. It’s not a fancy place with carpets and art. It’s a working factory. We spend our time checking the items and making sure they are packed correctly. The workers are mostly from the nearby villages. We have a routine that we follow every day. It’s a lot of responsibility to make sure the exports are on time. We don't have a big corporate culture. We just know each other’s names and get the work done. Sometimes things go wrong, like a machine breaking down, and we all have to figure it out together. It’s practical work. We aren't trying to be fancy. We just want to make sure the factory runs well and the orders are filled. It’s a long day, but we are used to it by now. The tea breaks are when we finally get some peace.
