Package Design Research & Test Lab

Package Design Research & Test Lab is over at D-32 in the Govt. Industrial Estate on Kanth Road. It is a place where we spend our time trying to break things. People bring us their boxes and packaging, and we put them through different tests to see if they can survive being shipped. We use vibration tables and drop testers to see what happens. It’s a lot of cardboard and data. The lab isn't a high-tech clean room; it’s more like a workshop with some specialized gear. We’ve been here in this industrial estate for quite a while now. It’s a good location for us because many of our clients are nearby. We don't have a big marketing plan. Most people find us because they had a shipment get damaged and they need to know why. We just do the tests and give them the facts. It’s a very practical job. We don't use fancy language or make big promises. We just tell you if your box is going to hold up or not. The estate can get a bit crowded with all the trucks on Kanth Road, but we like it here. It’s a community of people who actually make and test things. We just keep our heads down and focus on the testing. That is pretty much the whole story of our lab.
